Disaster Relief
JLN’s disaster relief unit mobilizes and deploys volunteers, equipment and durable goods to assist individuals suffering the effects of a local disaster — anywhere in the world. Our First Response Team travels immediately to disaster areas to assess community needs, and lead the mobilization of the Disaster Relief Unit volunteers. We also facilitate the honorable treatment and swift release of the deceased.
JLN gives the Jewish community a presence in disaster relief alongside other sectarian and non-sectarian organizations. Jewish volunteers and donors will be able to provide assistance and financial support under Jewish auspices for national and international disasters.
