What if the decision to save a life… was your decision?
Dear Supporter:
Every soul is priceless. Indeed, our sages teach that saving a single soul is like saving the entire world.
Five years of answering calls of suffering souls took Rabbi Isaac Leider across two continents, through the horrible flood waters of New Orleans, to remote mountain escapes, scenes of tragedy, medical disasters and hunts for the missing.
When Rabbi Leider first accepted the challenge of answering the calls of the desperate… the panicking… the grieving… little did he imagine that his efforts would one day grow into a new — and new type of — organization.
His work with Jews in crisis blossomed into the Jewish Lifeline Network a global network of top rescue and medical care professionals. JLN's five part mandate addresses every critical element in the desperate race to save lives and relieve suffering:
Crisis Assistance:
To facilitate the handling of any emergency situation.
Air Medical Transport:
A network of ICU planes and helicopters, available at a moment's notice anywhere in the USA.
Patient and Family Support Services:
Simplifying the complicated patient transfer process.
Global Search and Rescue:
The deployment of highly trained search teams to assist in the effort of finding the missing.
Disaster Relief:
Worldwide assistance for natural (or other) disaster relief.
In its early years, the activity that would become the Jewish Lifeline Network was supported by the donations from a handful of generous sponsors. Today, however, JLN has outgrown its small but dedicated base of support. To continue serving klal Yisrael [the Jewish nation] with our full range of emergency services, JLN must now reach out to new supporters and develop new lines of financial sustenance.
Today, the Jewish Lifeline Network turns to you, our Jewish brothers and sisters across America, for support. We hope and pray you will never need our services. But, G-d forbid, should a loved one need emergency assistance, you will know JLN is poised to respond, 24-hours a day, because of the generous support you have provided.
Most of all, JLN is a full-service response network for the ill, the endangered, the deceased and their families. On our website , you'll learn how JLN responds to tragedy, relieves suffering, and responds to the needs of Jewish families everywhere. You'll also learn why your help is desperately needed to continue our unique and mission-critical work.
There is only one Jewish Lifeline Network. No other organization duplicates our work. Please consider the enormous heavenly reward for hatzalas nefashos [saving a life]. Your support may literally mean the difference between life and death for a fellow Jew. Please respond generously… and share in our mission of saving Jewish lives.
Yours Truly,
The Board of Directors of Jewish Lifeline Network
